Each week, we're excited to have you join us for a magical adventure into the world of books and storytelling. Storytime is all about nurturing a lifelong love of reading while celebrating the richness of Vietnamese and English languages and cultures.

WHAT IS STORYTIME?

WHO WE SERVE

Storytime serves Vietnamese families with young children under 5 looking to nurture early literacy and cultural connection. The program is designed for families raising bilingual children, supporting development through engaging, age-appropriate activities that reflect both Vietnamese and American cultures. We welcome families seeking a safe, community-centered space to support their child’s learning and social development.

WHAT WE DO

During Storytime, our leaders develop stories that include shapes, colors, and numbers to help children develop different parts of their brains. This safe and friendly environment will encourage children to socialize with their peers and make friends, which will help build their social skills. They will be allowed to participate in arts and crafts, which will help hone their five motor skills (fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving, personal-social, and communication).

WHY IT MATTERS

Early childhood is a critical period for brain development, language acquisition, and social-emotional growth. Storytime fosters a love for reading while helping children build essential skills in both Vietnamese and English. We empower families to preserve their heritage, strengthen parent-child bonds, and support school readiness.
